What is Vagina Cancer : When malignant (cancer) cell is form in the vagina or birth canal is called Vagina cancer. Vagina Cancer is not common diseases. Its a canal out side of the body at the birth baby passing out. The female reproductive system is form by the Uterus, ovaries, Fallopian tube,cervix and vagina. Vagina Cancer is tow typed.
(1) Squamous Cell Carcinoma
(2) Adenocarcinoma.
(1) Squamous Cell Carcinoma: The Cancer which is form in squamous cell is called Squamous Cell Carcinoma which is the thin, flat cells lining the vagina. Squamous cell vagina cancer spread slowly and usually stays near the vagina. But may spread to the lungs, liver or bone. It is very common type of vagina cancer.
(2) Adenocarcinoma : Cancer which form in glandular cells is called Andocarcinoma. Glandular cells in the lining of the vagina make and release the fluids such as mucus. Andinocarcinoma more similar than Squamous cell cancer to spread to the lung and lymph nodes.
